On behalf of Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Trust, it is my honour to inform you know that we are setting up a state-of-art 120-bed non-profit hospital at Dhanyala, District Jhelum, named ‘Bukhsh Hospital’ in the revered memory of our great Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Bukhsh.
The hospital is being constructed on self-help basis on a covered area on a covered area of 73,270 square feet at a cost of 400 million rupees, of which a major chunk is being raised from donations from the overseas Pakistani philanthropists. When completed, this charitable general hospital will cater to major departments of medical treatment, with comprehensive indoor facilities in Surgery, Medicine, Gynaecology + Obs, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology & ENT. Besides, the hospital will have its own pharmacy, diagnostic and referral laboratories, radiology department, 24/7 emergency and ambulance services. We seek to follow the Millennium Development Goals of the UNDP and establish a unique Mother & Child Health Care centre within 10 km radius of the Jhelum Plains.
With these facilities we envision to make this institution comparable with any other modern hospital in the region. We, also, intend to introduce a paperless, online, imaging-based treatment system.
An outdoor patient facility - six days a week – has been already operative since 4th May 2008. Alhamdullilah, since June 2010, the construction of the full service hospital is underway and the building has already risen to the first floor level.
At this point in time and by virtue of generosity and trust bestowed by our donors and philanthropists, the Board of Governors of the Trust now offers you an opportunity for an eternal presence in the project. Your tangible presence can assume the form of a dedication to commemorate your dear and loved ones: a ward/department, an ambulance car, or a unit of MRI, CT scan, X-Ray, Dialysis or Radiology Lab.
By funding directly or through fund raising campaigns you can have the name of following wards/units/departments dedicated to your near and dear ones.
It is further added that this is an opportunity for you to multiply your donations to eternity, as the amount given above is only one fourth of the actual cost.
