We, the Board of Trustees of Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Trust feel proud in conceiving a project for the poor, in the name of the most revered Sufi Saint of the sub-continent, Mian Muhammad Bukhsh. It would be a health care facility, a state of the art 120 bed General hospital with all modern medical facilities catering to the health needs of close to one hundred thousand people of this down trodden rural area of Jhelum. It is a Private - Public partnership project, supported by committed philanthropists of the area, to provide charitable medical services to the deserving indiscriminately. |

The hospital is being built on an area of 2 acres, with a covered area of 100,000 sq. ft. Once completed, it would cater to all the major medical disciplines like gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general medicine and surgery. Six days a week OPD has already been in operation at the site of the project. Round the clock services of emergency and ambulance are also envisaged at the hospital. Hospital would have cutting edge pathological laboratory, ultra sound, MRI and CT scanning facilities. The project would not only address the health problems of the rural poor but will also lessen the burden of the public sector to a great extent. |
